Hey, sorry if it's redundant but I'm not able to find that issue in the forum.

MAKEMKV 1.17.4
Macos 10.14.6

I've been using makemkv for years without an issue.

Now, I have those files from a bluray, wich I can't open in makemkv :



I noticed index.bdmv is located under BACKUP directory, not under BDMV directory as usual.

When i open the index.bdmv files, I got nothing but the message : failed to open disc.



Any idea ? Thx a lot for your help.

Your rip is missing a ton of things, especially the video files. Yes, in the backup directory, there is a copy of index.bdmv as well:

but the original should be within BDMV:

And without the stream directory, there are no video files on your "BuRay":
