makemkv wont create shortcuts to current user's start menu

Hi,
I have been using makemkv for quite a while without issues.
However, now when I installed a new machine (win10 clean install + upgrade to win11), it seems that makemkv installer wont create the makemkv folder and shortcuts to user's start menu.
It only creates folder + shortcut under admin's start menu.
I log in my computer as standard user (no admin rights). I have a different account to elevate installation process called firstname.admin, which I use to install programs.
I'm quite sure this worked back when I was using win10.
Do you think this is an MakeMKV installer issue, or win11 issue?
