Does it matter which region code a DVD or BR has, when I'm just using MakeMKV to rip it for use in Plex?
I've found a hard-to-find DVD set that is only for Region code 2. I usually don't watch movies from DVD-> TV,
I have mostly been watching them from Plex using a tablet.

If your optical drive is a LibreDrive, then it shouldn't matter.

If your optical drive isn't LibreDrive, then the answer is a very definite maybe.

Once it's a MKV, it doesn't matter anymore for any player.
