I cant use Version 1.17.2 anymore since "its too old" when I try to start it up but since the 1.17.3 update when ever I try to read a HD DVD disc the Programm crashes, no matter which USB port I use or try to open an ISO of one of my HD DVD movies it just says "Fatal error occurred, program will now exit" Normal DVDs and Blu Rays rip but it freezes and crashes with that fatal error when ever it comes near a HD DVD this is very frustrating since I downloaded it to get my HD DVDs backed up.

If you buy MakeMKV, you can use older versions.

Hopefully HD DVD support will be fixed soon.

I'm glad I found your post because I thought I was going crazy over here!
Just snagged a rare HD-DVD and am chomping at the bit to get it backed up.
