I don't have a lot of experience ripping discs from outside my region, but as I understand it, if your drive is a
LibreDrive (one of the supported drive models from the
flashing guide with the right firmware), you should be able to rip title regardless of region/zone.

What did MakeMKV show? No disc inserted? A debug error message? Anything at all? Where they UHDs and it couldn't download the decrypting keys from the internet?
