i am sorry...
i am new here ...

i have purchased the license key and use the makemkv for a while.

but the happy day with makemkv ends today.

for some reasoms, i have to re-install my windows 11.
after finishing install windows 11 and makemkv, i am unable to activate my makemkv from beta to paid version.

the makemkv keeps telling me that my license is invalid.
i am pretty sure that the license i pasted is no change.
i have provided the same serial number for activation.

but makemkv will not activate.
so

what can i do for activating my makemkv?
how to get a new valid license?
what should i provide in order to prove that i have already purchased the license?
where and who should i contact with in order to fix the problem i got?

i have the original invoice issued by payproglobal (not in english)
what else should i provide?

"Pasted in" may be the key; MakeMKV is sensitive to character that sometimes get pasted in as part of a copy/paste operation. Speaking of invisible characters here.

You may have to use "Ctrl-Shift-V" to paste the text version of the key in.

What you suggested here had been tried for many time.

After I take a look on the forum for a while,
I found that I might need to contact with the support@makemkv.com in order to get further assistance.

for now, what I want to do is to retrieve my license on the official makemkv website.

and I hope that the author of makemkv, mike, would like to issue the license as a file like what the anydvd does.

Furthermore, I am glad to receive the activation e-mail again if it is possible to be done.

By the way, maybe, the newbie guide of makemkv should notice that the activation e-mail and invoice of makemkv MUST NEVER EVER BE DELETED!!!

One way I've found is to paste it into a text-based application, like Notepad on Windows. Wordpad is a problem - it isn't text-based.

Paste into Notepad, highlight it again and copy it. Then it is text, for pasting in to MakeMKV.

Otherwise, typing it in works, too.

Contacting Mike directly can work well, too... just remember that he's not an instant response person.

NOW sending to "Mike Admin" through the forum should work. I thought private messages to him would always work, but apparently I'm wrong.

it surprises me a lot!!!

now, i am so happy with my activated makemkv.
