I just installed this prog and have attempted to convert 4 dvds so far to mkv files. However the audio of everything I have converted is incredibly low - so low I have to have my TV on maximum volume to just hear the sound. The audio on the DVD's is fine.

any suggestions what the issue could be?

makemkv does not change audio in any way - it must be player issue. What player are you using to play MKV files?
