I am using MAKEMKV 1.16.7 and the new Beta key viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1053
5/31/2022 does not seem to be working. when entered it says time limited
and license expiration 1.06.2022 not sure if this is MM/DD or DD/MM format.
when I go to open a disc I get the error that my evaluation period even though
the beta key should still allow it work through the end of May. I was wondering
what else needs to be done to get the free beta key to work

anyone have any ideas? Posted this since it isn't covered in the Beta Key FAQ

Did you restart MakeMKV after adding the revised key?

Yes I have even restarted the computer and the error still existed. I was only able to get it to work after adjusting the computer date

The key is DDMM (day/month) order, so 01-06-2022 should be June 1, 2022. If you have set the computer date back to prior to 3/30/2022, it's reading the key wrong (or not picking it up).
