Can you add the option to add more than 1 file per time?
For example add a full folder of for example mkv files with dts sound.
If you can add this option/feature please add it at the next version of the program.

A full folder?
How are you using MakeMKV? You can select all the titles on a disk.
Or are you using MakeMKV to do the functionality of ffmpeg? That is, converting audio instead of ripping disks?

Add files and re-encoded for audio mostly.
To convert dts-hd or dts into aac(Don't have the ac3 option).
So...

OK, if the MKV files are already on your hard drive with their "regular" audio tracks, ffmpeg will give you maximum flexibility for converting. ffmpeg is already the tool within MakeMKV that is doing the conversions, but you don't have access to all of it's flexibility. Its libraries also drive handbrake's audio conversions, so it's a useful tool to have.

I have very little information to work with on this, since you are dealing with potentially random MKV files. I know that many things MakeMKV does are based on how things are on physical media; I do not know which ones apply to existing MKV files, since I've never tried them.
Other tools make more sense for that. There is no need to create a special profile to use ffmpeg to convert audio.
The profile defines what conversions are AVAILABLE, and you select the tracks to save. That can be through manual selection, or a selection rule.

Yes you need to add some profiles if you want to convert for example into ac3 or into mp3.
As it is the makemkv 1.16.7 now you CAN'T convert any audio into ac3 so.......
It need more profiles.

As far as modern VIDEO playback, MP3 is almost a dead format.
Your "needs" for MakeMKV seem like you are upset that your car is not also a pickup truck and motor home.

And I say, "read what is recommended".
You seem unusually adverse to the idea of using the proper tools for the job.
A free tool exists for exactly the job you are wanting to do. But you insist that MakeMKV must change because you do not want to use the proper tool.

Doesn't matter at all how anyone use the program.
From the time that the program itself OFFER YOU that option(To add files and re-encoded) to the profiles it has you can use it as this so....
THERE IS NO RECOMMENDED USE FOR ANY PROGRAM????????
