I have successfully made a few conversions from VIDEO_TS files on my hdd, but the last 6-7 attempts [different files each time] have all failed with the BUP offsett error message. Any thoughts?

This error can be safely ignored.

Not sure how this error message is to be ignored as the files do not open and I'm unable to proceed with the conversion. Additional information would be most appreciated.

well, this error ususally means an incorrect rip. How did you get DVD files on HDD in a first place? Tyically you can't just copy them from the disc.
