Do you plan on updating the version in the package manager in POP OS? when I open it it tells me I have to download the new one from your web site or register it. Your web site has no info on registering and I can't get the new version to install as I am new to Linux.

There is no official version of MakeMKV in any package managers for Linux. If you find one, you will need to ask the package's maintainer if they plan to update it.

MakeMKV's officially only releases through https://makemkv.com/download/ . There is a link on that page to the instructions on how to install the Linux version.
