Will this drive work with MakeMKV? Has anyone got any experience with it. I did a search and found 2 threads with people saying it couldn't be picked up, idk if this is representative of other peoples experience with it though. I only want to rip regular blu rays.

As a CD, DVD, and regular BD drive, it will work, but there is no UHD capability. If you don't want UHD, it should be a reliable drive.

It will not, at this time (and maybe never) be a LibreDrive, so you might have to wait for a software update for MakeMKV to read the latests BDs.
