New user just getting into the blu ray burning scene, haven't bought a burner as yet but have my eye on one thanks to this great group!!. I have a question regarding software, which is the best to get e.g.:dvdfab or something else , have used Nero along time ago, dvdshrink and others but want to know any newer programs that people recommend. Again new to this caper, have burnt CDs ,DVDs, flash drive storage, hdd storage etc but a noob in regards to blu ray or uhd burning, thanks in advance.

This forum isn't the best place for discussing BURNING disks, since MakeMKV (and several others you mentioned) are for RIPPING disks.

In fact, some of the changes necessary to optimize ripping UHD disks have been known to cause issues with burning, and the best burner drives are not UHD-ripping-friendly.
