oceans thirteen

When I tried to extract just the main stream (and all audio/subtitle tracks) from the original Ocean's Thirteen DVD, MakeMKV fails near the very end. I then extracted the whole disk using DVDFab5HD and pointed MakeMKV at the IFO in video_ts. Unfortunately this didn't work either (I would provide debug output, but MakeMKV locks up and pegs one core at 100%). Anyone else having issues with this disk (or similar issues with other disks)? Solutions?

Loving MakeMKV - keep up the great work!

This problem is still present in 1.4.2 When MakeMKV freezes (shows "not responding" in the title bar and indeed does not respond) and deletes the partial mkv, the output size shows "4058.1 M". Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Please enable debug log per instructions at http://www.makemkv.com/faq/item/8/catid/6 and post it here.

I tried, but it locks up at 80% when debugging turned on... should I just wait it out?

Left it running for 2 hours, fans running at full speed, application still locked up. Force quitted it, and no log file was generated. Disabling debug load, still causes same error. I can upload the movie VIDEO_TS files if you need to test somehow.

@aloshka

Hi!

Try changing the "minimum filesize" to (original default) 120 seconds, or less.

Clean your original DVD

If that doesn't resolve your problem, I'd suggest you return the DVD to the place of purchase, in exchange for a new replacement.

Firstly, please see if 1.6.2 works on this disc. If it still locks up, please use command-line version to copy all titles and send produces debug log

Code: Select all

makemkvcon mkv disc:0 all c:\temp

Did anyone ever find a solution to this particular disc issue? I've just encountered it today using 1.6.14 and get the failed error right at the end from the original DVD and from ISOs created by two different applications.

I tried using the debug option and, after 10 hours, found MakeMKV pegging a CPU at 100% and about 22MB of log file.

Just gave Ocean's 13 a try and it worked fine for me. No problems at all.
