"Failed to open disc"

Get "Failed to open Disc" error when trying to rip a certain DVD. Don't see any physical damage and the DVD plays fine.

You probably didn't notice the following in the log you submitted:
has RPC protection that can not be bypassed. Change drive region or update drive firmware from http://tdb.rpc1.org.
