Question on TV Series

A few threads touch on this subject but can someone advise on making an MKV file of something like Curb your Enthusiasm box set. Does MKV create a file that has the separate episodes without any adjustments ? In that in a disc that has say, 20 episodes do you end up with 20 small MKV files...in which case you can put the correct episode number against them ?

Thanks Woodstock....appreciate that. I just ripped Phoenix Nights and I got all the episodes in order...just needed renaming of course...and the out takes and extras in seperate files...excellent. Now to go through my Curb your, 30 rock etc box sets.......

I have. The World at War (not the new, restored (and cropped) edition) has the episodes out of order.

Disc 2:
- title 2 = episode 7
- title 3 = episode 4
- title 4 = episode 5
- title 5 = episode 6

Disc 3:
- title 2 = episode 10
- title 3 = episode 8
- title 4 = episode 11
- title 5 = episode 9

etc.

@topgazza
@tacocat

I have questions about Curb Your Enthusiasm on DVD.
The DVDs that I have have have more than 10 episodes, although the episode guides all show
10 episodes per season. CYE doesn't show the name of the episode in text at all when the episode plays, so one has to guess- or watch the entire episode to figure out what the correct title is. For the files that are > 10, they are the same length as the episodes themselves, and do not appear to be "behind the scenes", "the making of", or even just interviews with the actors.

How does one figure out how to name the episodes, as well as figure out which mkv files are not part of the official 10 episodes per seasno?

Thanks
