I used MakeMKV to make a copy of Sherlock Holmes blu-ray and when I went to play it on my WD TV off connected hard drive I noticed that it was 1080i and not 1080p. Maybe I missed a setting in MakeMKV but I would think it would rip the video in its native resolution automatically.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi!

It must be something else in your setup, since MakeMKV doesn't in any way alter videostreams...
