Currently, one can select a preferred language and MakeMKV will automatically deselect any language that doesn't match that. This makes life easy. However, if we want multiple languages (say we are english speakers, but if we want to get practice reading or hearing spanish, we might want to automatically select the spanish track in addition to the "primary" english track. Currently that means investigating each and every disc instead of having a default that we can just set and forget.

Goto to the "settings -> Advanced" tab and add "-sel:all,+sel:(spa|eng)". The first "-" deselects anything and the "+" selects what you want.

For anyone who finds this answer and is as confused about how to find the Advanced tab in Preferences as I was, the Advanced tab will only appear if you tick the Expert mode check box, which can be found in the Miscellaneous panel at the center of the General tab in Preferences
