Sometimes it tooks a little while to get to the main page of the program

As the title says, if I start the program right after windows detects a disc in the drive, the program takes a short while to get to the main page. It gets a bit stuck, showing the message of "searching for a compatible CD DRIVE" (or something similar). This has happened to me some times (not so many) since I bought this Bluray drive, several years ago.
This time, even 2 SCSI - MEDIUM ERROR:L-EC UNCORRECTABLE ERROR appeared. That never happened to me before.
I just restarted the system and the problem seems to have dissappeared. The program gets to the main page as usual and I am able to copy the disk. No error message appeared.
Has this ever happened to anyone?
