Question about some messages on opening a DVD

Hey everyone,
as I noticed the following messages on many discs, I just wanted to ask, what they mean in detail.
As the title was added (see next line) I guess this is just information? Or could something be missed?
What exactly is MakeMKV scanning within the video? If it would just use the meta data about audio tracks and languages, it surely wouldn't need to scan every VOBU inside that?
And what exactly is a complex multiplex? I see that not on every disc.
What is a cell here? It's not a chapter, as MakeMKV doesn't show me any after scanning. And 50 is only in one episode of 8 on the disc. The others mostly have 1, some 3.
How does MakeMKV check for this? Is in the VTS audio stream #1 and #2 just linked to the same audio track?

Code: Select all
Cells 2-end were skipped due to cell commands (structure protection?)
Code: Select all
Complex multiplex encountered - 1 cells and 1803 VOBUs have to be scanned. This may take some time, please be patient - it can't be avoided.

Code: Select all
Title #5 was added (50 cell(s), 0:18:47)
Code: Select all
Audio stream #2 is identical to stream #1 and was skipped
Subtitle stream #4 is identical to stream #3 and was skipped
