New Errors

MakeMKV is suddenly not converting my captured HD files, and coughs up an error message after encoding. It used to work flawlessly....

I capture HD vid (.TS) using my Hauppauge HDPVR and Arcsoft software.

I then use TSMuxer to create bluray format folders, and MakeMKV for the final .mkv file.

I've abbreviated the error log as the same line was repeating over and over.
(001003:0020 DEBUG: Code 108120000 at ]8P!K|/(]\$Wlh]G+Ip:213129984)

Any help is appreciated.

I don't know if this helps, but this is the message I get from TSMuxer. (See below)

I don't know if I had the "H.264 stream does not contain fps field" message before, when MakeMKV was working fine.

For what it's worth, the bluray folders created by TSMuxer, have always played just fine on my PC, even after I started receiving the MakeMKV errors.

SmartLabs tsMuxeR. Version 1.10.6 http://www.smlabs.net
Decoding H264 stream (track 1): Profile: Main@4.0 Resolution: 1920:1080i Frame rate: 29.97
H.264 stream does not contain fps field. Muxing fps=29.97
Decoding AC3 stream (track 2): Bitrate: 384Kbps Sample Rate: 48KHz Channels: 2
B-pyramid level 2 detected. Shift DTS to 3 frames
Processed 9000 video frames
Creation of Blu-ray playlist
Creation of Blu-ray stream info and seek index
Mux successful complete.
Muxing time: 24 sec

Side stepping the problem but why not just go straight from ts->mkv with 'eac3to'?

I'd still like to solve the MakvMKV problem (I'm stubborn).

But that said, I'll download it and give it a go.

Thanks.

@Moorthy88

Hi!
It used to work flawlessly....

1) What, if anything, has been changed in either your hardware setup or installed programs since the last time things were working properly for you?

2) As an experiment, try processing a previously captured .TS file that you previously SUCCESSFULLY processed

Nothing has changed. That's the frustrating part.

I wish I still had one available to try. They're all gone.
