[BD+ is supported in v1.4.8] "BD+ Feature unsupported"

Hi,

I just tried to open two new BluRay's with version 797, and got the following message:

- Using direct disc access mode
The blu-ray disc can't be opened by this BETA version. It contains the following unsupported feature: BD+
Failed to open disc

Any idea what this new feature is about (security?). & is there anything you can do to fix it?

Cheers

BD+ is a second layer of security in addition to AACS encryption. It's not new, as it has been used since the fall of 2007. Best way to bypass it is to use AnyDVD-HD, then run MakeMKV as usual

I did a bit of research & discovered AnyDVDHD myself. Brilliant little program!
Thanks, MakeMKV ripped the discs after that!

BD+ support is planned in the near future. Not too many discs ise BD+ for the moment. For discs without BD+ you don't need AnyDVD, and you won't need AnyDVD once MakeMKV will have BD+ support.
Update: BD+ is supported starting from version 1.4.8 .
