Is there a minimum or optimum hardware configuration for running MakeMKV? Is there a hierarchy of hardware, such as CPU, RAM, graphics chip/card or HDD speed?
Thank you!

For all practical purposes MakeMKV runs on ancient hardware. Anything manufactured in last 10 years will probably do.
CPU - almost any (SSE2 required)
RAM - 1GB of ram minimum.
Windows - XP SP1 or later
Mac OS X - 10.7 or later
Linux - 2.6.? or later

FWIW, I've run MakeMKV on a Wintel Pro W8pro (quad core Intel ATOM processor with 2GB RAM), and the biggest limitation was the network port - disk ripping would finish several minutes before saving to the NAS would. It's about as low-spec a Win10 box as you'll find.

Of course, the question is going to come up, "Why isn't there a Raspberry Pi (ARM) version?"
