Purchased, have key, "register" is greyed out

I recently had to reinstall Windows and went to reinstall makemkv, which was easy enough. But, when I got to trying to register my product that's when things became a little more difficult. The following happens:

I for some reason cannot click "Register" and enter my key. Do I have to wait the entire shareware duration or something?

Yes, either wait it out, or delete the current β key in the preferences file and restart MakeMKV. On Mac it is in ~/Library/MakeMKV/setting.conf under "app_Key". Sorry, no idea where it is kept under Windows.
