Hi There,

I'm having some troubles with the subtitles. When i convert a blu-ray to MKV and select the subtitles, there'r shown in the Mkv file, but i can hardly read them. I haven't got a clue what's wrong.
It's the blu-ray of the pacific. It's not the only one, i have had this problem other times, but not always.

I've tried to change the settings in my mediaplayer (Bs player pro, windows media player), but without result.

can somebody help me with this problem ? i've attached a screen as example.

Thanks,

Tesmas.

Hi!

The resolution of the sample image you've posted here is 952x535.

If, in fact, this is the (non-compliant Blu-ray) resolution of your video, this is likely the cause of the unusual subtitle display...

ok, i'll check if that's the resolution of the blu-ray, or just of the jpg. If the blu-ray is in this format, can i change that or is this a preference in MakeMkv i can change ?
Thanks for the reply.

If it's a legitimate, commercial Blu-ray disc, that could not possibly be its original resolution...
