too large ripp blu-ray

i'm using makemkv to ripping blu-ray .after ripping take alot my hard drive space with 26.GB for one movie.
i'm using another s/w to ripping same movie only 6.6GB
can some one help?

makemkv simply dumps data off of the disk into an mkv container. As you seem to have noticed bluray's are large, so if you want a smaller file you will need to compress it with third party tools.

handbrake is good for shrinking or compressing the files

1) What program are you using that compresses it to 6.6GB?

2) If you already have and are using a program to compress your Blu-rays, why are you seeking another such program?
