30 day count down not starting

hi all. strange one this. fresh install of windows 10 FCU. makemkv working fine but asking me every time if I want to start the 30 day count down. 2 days after installing it's still at 30 days. no problem you might think, but it means I can't use batch converter as the dialogue messes it up. anyone got any clues? thanks in advance.
