When upgrading to windows 10 I had to reinstall ....My activation code that I purchased several years ago is not valid. I found the original email but the code was linked to a url that was no longer active.

If your receipt from Avangate/Guinpin is similar to mine, you will have a line below "Name" and "Email" listed as "Activation Key". Copy all of the characters of the key ONLY, excluding all spaces before and after, and paste into the registration field in MakeMKV. There's no link to follow.
