I bought a registered copy of mkv last year and it has stopped working and asking me to update my copy as it is to old or to register I am using 10.6 which is the latest version could you advise how to correct the problem.

If you have a registered key already, it SHOULD be remembered across versions. On Windows, it is stored in the registry. On Linux and MacOS, it's stored in your home directory, if I remember correctly.

Find your registration email, and copy/paste the registration key into v1.10.6 and your should be good.

Thank s for your reply my registry was corrupted which explains why it was asking to register again. but I have deleted the e-mail.

If you've deleted the email, then you'll have to send a message to support@makemkv.com with your information (especially the email address you used to register). Mike can then look it up and send your code to you.
