Newbie here! Am in process of ripping a BD disc and it seems to be going well...outputting as MKV files.

Have read that it is possible to output directly as FLAC but do not see output format option in menu?! How do I do this?

If I understand correctly regardless of whether MKV or FLAC, I still need to convert using app such as DVD-AE to make playable files for my server. Is this correct?
