Can no longer use libmmdb.dll with MPV after update [solved]

I'm new to this forum and MakeMKV in general. I was using it as such: I installed MakeMKV, then copied the libmmdb.dll file to the root folder of MPV. Whenever MPV came across an encrypted bluray disk, it would use the .dll to decrypt it. I'm assuming it spun up an instance of MakeMKV in the background and streamed it to MPV, since when I went to play a bluray yesterday I got some text in my cmd saying I had to update MakeMKV. So I started MakeMKV normally and the same message popped up.
I updated to the latest MakeMKV version, re-copied the libmmdb.dll file over to the MPV folder and... now nothing. MPV gives me an error about not being able to find an aacs decoder on my system, despite the dll being right where it was before.
As I haven't changed anything related to MPV before this (haven't updated, haven't changed my config file), I'm assuming it's related to the MakeMKV update. Anybody here have any ideas?
