High memory usage, 600 MB

Why does it use so much memory? I use Win 7 x64 with only 2 GB memory so it might be problematic using other high memory applications in parallel.

You may change amount of memory used for buffering in preferences.

Thanks, I'll try 256 MB.
There are some minor UI issues using 144 DPI, might be QT related.

It is not possible if the system is perfectly working,you must check it out something is wrong with the system and check the buffer memory also.

Which process memory usage are you talking about, makemkv , makemkvcon or both?
