Longtime request - please introduce error tolerance

Mike,
I know this request has been made often, but since it still hasn't been implemented/planned, I want to make it again. Just like video players can ignore certain errors in the tracks and continue playing, I wish makemkv had the ability to ignore certain errors and continue the ripping process for the remaining part. Seriously, in a movie of say 2 hours, I'd rather have a few seconds or minutes not play rather not not have the movie at all. I saw this with 2 movies currently: Patriot Games and The client. Agreed my disks may be part of a "bad press" batch, but why not give me something instead of nothing?
best regards,
