Sorry if i ask something obvius, but this is the first time I use MakeMKV.
I wanna know how long does it takes to convert a BD into MKV, considering that, for a DVD, I take 10 minutes (with MakeMKV).
I have a middle-level hardware: PHENOM X3 8450; 4GB RAM, Geforce 8200.
Because, if the required time is "some hours" I won't waste my money in a BD ripper!

Really it depends on the speed of the bluray drive + the speed of the hard drive & how hard your taxing your system. But for me I can rip a bluray in about ~20 mins, then again I can rip dvds in about ~7 mins.

Just a other thing: a bd drive is enought, is it? Or I need a bd ripper?

a regular old BD-ROM drive will be enough. unless you want to burn, then you need r/rw
