Maybe this has been answered, but I'm wondwering how non forced subtitles get added?

For example, I have Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Bluray ISO and want to include the English subtitles.
I like hearing the movie in Chinese, can't read or understand Chinese, so I need the English subtitles. How do you get the subtitles added to the .mkv?

By first selecting (put checkmark next to) the title that represents the main movie and then selecting (put checkmark next to) "Subtitle" and then selecting (put checkmark next to) "English"
