Make MKV by chapter

The current MakeMKV does not has a make MKV by chapter. Will the future MakeMKV version support this?
It does for DVD, just not for Blu Ray.
Blu Ray is more complicated, MakeMKV would need to do more than just split titles during a re-author. To account for all kinds of discs it would need to append them too, and given the wide variety of codecs and track selections that can be used on any particular disc it becomes rather complicated.
It needs to be more like EAC3To, except it looks as though people want to be able to split within m2ts files as well and not just at segment boundaries.
