Subtitles

Post by nickdunc » Wed Oct 14, 2015 1:27 pm

I have just started on the ripping process and when checking I found that the more recent DVD's all had (English) subtitles.
I had chosen the topmost largest file as my rule for selection.
Do I have to rip everything and then manually test each one and delete the rest?

Many thanks (it was all looking so good...)

I have resolved this by using MKVtoolNIX - it seems much simpler than trying to do it in MakeMKV.
The combination of the two tools seems to work well.

Since I post-process EVERYTHING with Handbrake, I rip all the tracks, figure out which are the correct ones and what order they should be in, and then use that to instruct handbrake on how to process the disk.
