Maybe not. Can you mux the two parts together with mkvtoolnix?

Well, I've bought MakeMKV to do the job, and not to have to install other tools to complete the backup.Smithcraft wrote:Maybe not. Can you mux the two parts together with mkvtoolnix?

I've already saved succesfully more than 200 BD with just MakeMKV.
This is the only one I can't. Sad...

Have you sent a testdump to Mike yet?
Re: MakeMKV see movie Robots in two pieces
No because there is no crash.paulster wrote:Have you sent a testdump to Mike yet?
Re: MakeMKV see movie Robots in two pieces
You can still run a testdump and end up with a compressed file to send. Check the FAQ.

@NotMe
Hi!
It may be that your "Robots" disc contains "seamless branching" - and that MakeMKV is not handling it properly...
On the other hand, have you played either or both 26 chapter files to determine whether they may already include the "extra" 6 minute file (That is reflected as having NO chapters)?

FYI it's a BD+ protected disk.

Re: MakeMKV see movie Robots in two pieces
10 years later and I experienced this same exact thing. On the bluray I own it's the 00850.mpls file (majority of the movie) and the 00820.m2ts file (credits only).
Notice that the 00820 file for the credits had the .m2ts extension - I believe that may be where the issue lies - in the authorship of the bluray itself.
For context, I've been using MakeMKV and MKVToolNix for over 7 years and have around 2100+ bluray discs and about 4500+ tv shows (bluray and dvd).
This scenario doesn't exist on any of them except this one. Not sure if Mike wants to make a thing out of this, but thought I'd try to bring closure to it.
There are other playlists for the credits, but the only difference I picked up were the songs playing during the credits - everything was in English.
I'll just mux them together using MKVToolNix and call it good. Watch your "Minimum title length" under the Preferences. The 00820 file is only 6 minutes and 8 seconds long.
