Anyone ever experience something like this? I have a mini PC (ACEMAGICIAN M1 Mini Gaming PC AMD Ryzen 7 6800H). Now I have seen this occur 4 or 5 times (twice yesterday ripping the same disc). I didn't notice the fact it was always during ripping that this occurred until yesterday. The PC also won't move past this to a boot (power off is the only thing that works). Starting the PC, seems to clear the problem, though I did get a repeat, but a third attempt today worked. I have one of Billy's USB-C attached players. And I have ripped 100's of movies on this PC and only can recall 4-5 incidents. Each time this was discovered when the PC did not respond to VNC (laptop to desktop 2 floors away). I suspect some type of issue caused by USB attached device, but given the low percentage hit rate, I'm reluctant to muck with BIOS upgrades or config changes. Tossing this out here while MakeMKV Forum is again unreachable.

I would run some stress tests with prime 95 and memtest
More likely a hw issue with your PC
