Beta key not working - v1.18.3 Linux

Hello,

I'm running MakeMKV v1.18.3 on Linux and the beta key from the Announcements post is not working.

Key tried: T-URt6MHxNy3HmfVojU8pE05WQ6HfgVI8S@HiIeNcWFim9rBgNlOdLFROSATCsWikcKW

System date: Sat Mar 14 2026

Error message: "Key not found or invalid"

Could someone provide a working beta key? Thank you!

Did you restart MakeMKV after installing the key? Does the user you were logged in as have rights to overwrite the file the key is stored in?

Maybe there is space or something on your copy/paste?

Open Terminal and add the key from there.

This adds the Key to the .MakeMKV/settings.conf file, on your home directory.
