Worst case scenario?
Assuming Mike, for whatever reason, never returns, how does this whole situation play out?
Re: Worst case scenario?
As far as the mods have indicated, it means that people who placed orders that aren’t fulfilled request refunds from PayPro Global. And we all try to find a more permanent workaround for the beta keyshadow-archetype wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 3:10 pmAssuming Mike, for whatever reason, never returns, how does this whole situation play out?
Re: Worst case scenario?
PayPro Global is already issuing refunds to people who didn't get keys, whether they've requested a refund or not.
That's a super cute user name, by the way. :D

Good to know that people are at least getting their refunds.
Aww, thanks. What can I say? I like birds.
Re: Worst case scenario?
Can confirm. I received a refund and never asked for one. Was giving it time to see how it plays out. I guess pay pro gave up and didn’t want to hear about it.
Re: Worst case scenario?
Its not the best work around in the world, but I started making myself a small program called "MakeMKV-Loader" that changes my internal clock to July 30 and then starts the program and turns it back immediately after. I started working on it a few hours ago and its almost complete. I wouldn't feel comfortable uploading it for other windows users to use (windows only) unless Mike never returns. (Just due to the work around nature of it). But if anyone is interested I will post it once we know for sure whether or not this will be abandonware.smol_birb wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 5:10 pmAs far as the mods have indicated, it means that people who placed orders that aren’t fulfilled request refunds from PayPro Global. I can also see that someone will probably make a keygen in the future if something has happened with Mike. Let's hope it's nothing to bad.Terron1 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 07, 2025 6:50 pmIts not the best work around in the world, but I started making myself a small program called "MakeMKV-Loader" that changes my internal clock to July 30 and then starts the program and turns it back immediately after. Re: Worst case scenario?
It looks like everything is going to be okay. Billy posted this on Reddit not long ago.
"It's not the end of the road guys I just talked to him on Friday if me or him would have known about this issue then it likely would be fixed already"

Re: Worst case scenario?
I know this was asked on other threads, but I don’t think a clear answer was given. What about new discs that need their tgz file emailed for decryption? Is this a manual process done by a human or automatic? Sorry for not fully understanding how it works or if this was previously answered somewhere else and I missed it. I hope all is well with Mike. Software is great and a bargain considering the alternatives.

Re: Worst case scenario?
He actually clarified that comment after everyone was asking then why hasn't it been fixed.
What he meant, is he talked to Mike very early Friday morning before the key issue came up.
No one's been in contact with him since. Or at the very least, no one that's saying anything, so....

Re: Worst case scenario?
Also something similar happened 2 months ago, I found another reddit post where Billy said "makemkv will likely be back up
mike checks on makemkv maybe every 2 weeks or so he usually very busy"
So give it some time
