Why is BETA name still there after purchase?

I was wondering if the name of the program would ever change.
I bought it and entered my key and it says registered expires never, but it's still named MakeMKV BETA.
I mean it's no big deal, just curious why the naming didn't change.

I always figured it was a liability thing... As in, 'I'm not responsible for your PC melting-down because you chose to use a program still in "Beta"?

Of course beta doesn't mean demo, but I understand how that could be misunderstood. Just as an RC isn't a demo either.
The liability thing makes sense.
