is makeMKV no longer in beta? is it no longer free?

The beta key is about to expire in 1 more day, I looked at the news and announcements, all it says is thank you for testing the beta there is a new release. does that mean it's no longer in beta or that this new release is the new beta? the key is about to expire very soon so I would have thought someone would have said something. I don't really mind buying it, it's worked pretty good so far

MakeMKV beta key always expires after 2 months. The key is updated when the author takes care of it.

If you do not pay attention while being a beta-user, you can have the key run out on you. And sometimes Mike isn't immediate about updating the key.

Neither means the beta is "over". Neither changes whether or not it is "free".
