If you had a disc which was damaged in some way, or a damaged optical drive, would makeMKV always realise and notify you, or could it silently corrupt the file without the program noticing.
(For a real world example, I had a disc drive which was in a pc that got water damaged. Not sure if the drive was damaged. Is it okay to use this drive to rip discs, or could it potentially give corrupted/altered output files without the program knowing about it)
Is it possibel to get "silent" corruption which makemkv doesn't pick up on.

Thanks. I'm getting "posix error input/output error" and "sci error, uncorrectable error" on a few disks, is this a drive error or a disc error?
