Hello,
What is the best media player for properly decoding mkv movies with Dolby vision and atmos, also subtitles? Tried first rip movie on my Sony TV and Blu-ray Player but it only shows in HDR and LPCM audio tracks, no subtitles option. I'm looking at Nvidia shield

None, the only way to get true DV with all its layers currently is a player and use disc media.
But real Kodi or some of its variants can do DV except for the FEL layer.
