Can I rip just portions of a movie file?

Hello all. I wanted to piece together portions of Blu-ray movie files to put together demo segments of different movies. I've been using MakeMKV for many years to rip full movie files, but wasn't sure if I can rip just certain portions.

no only the whole thing then trim it after
