Subtitles not synchronized

I created a mkv file from blu-ray "The mummy 3" and i exctracted italian subtitles from this BD. I tried to insert it by Mkvmerge but i have this strange problem: the subtitles appear but non synchronized with the movie (always later). I exctracted the subtitles by Tsremux and SupRip. Before i selected the subtitle and demuxed it (demux Presentation Stream to Supread Stream) to make cap.sup, then i saved it as cap.srt by SupRip. How can i solve this problem?

there is an option to correct timecodes in mkvmerge - I guess you should manually shift subtitles a bit earlier.

Do you know if BluRay discs have a way to specify a shift that is lost when we convert to mkv? Ie if the subtitles are synced when playing on a bluray player then there must be some way it knows to shift?
