Subtitle Position

Post by entity » Tue Mar 24, 2009 9:11 pm

Hi
I just downloaded the software and even though I haven't started converting any bluray yet, I have to say I am utterly impressed by the simple interface and the detection of the contents. Great job!
Now it is time for testing and for one question.
Is it posible that in the future we may see a subtitle reposition option? I have a widescreen (2.35:1 Format) screen with a projector and anamorphic lens and one of the things I look for when converting my blurays is to get the subtitles in foreign movies moved from the black bars to the movie image area so that I can still see them when I try fill the screen with a 2.35:1 format movie.
I may be asking for too much... I know:)
Thanks for a great product. Looking forward to the final commercial release.
Cheers
Enrique Cedeno

If you use a networked media tank like Popcorn Hour A-110, you can change sub position in the menu. Note: till now, Popcorn can not work with PGS sub, but I think this will change in the future.

When you have soft subs (i.e. selectable subs), the player should control where to display the subtitles.
