PS4 & MakeMKV

Is it possible to use backup DVDs and Blu Ray discs by running MakeMKV on a PS4? If not possible on the factory firmware, would it be possible by booting Linux on a PS4?

Current operating system compatibility is detailed there. MakeMKV is not a player or an app like AnyDVD which runs in the background to decrypt discs. It’s strictly a ripper/converter.

Thank you. In other words, I'm assuming the answer is no and a PS4 BD drive can't rip discs even if I were to somehow run MakeMKV.

That would most likely be the case as that drive is not entirely like the conventional PC drives sold to consumers.
