Works fine for me. I have several blu-ray discs that I've ripped that have both DTS:X on the disc AND in the MKV file made with MakeMKV. No issues at all in fact.

But how do they show in MakeMKV? Do they show up as DTS:X

I have ripped DTS X bluray discs and they do not show up as DTS X but as "DTS Neural X".

I stand corrected. Both DTS X and Dolby Atmos were ripped successfully. It was Kodi 16.1 that does not support. Tested in Kodi 17 and both audio formats worked perfectly.
